Technical Assistance

Agricultural Conservation Assistance -

 

Erosion control, drainage, water quality, waste management for owner/operator

No charge

 

 

Conservation Assistance to Municipalities -

No charge

Assistance to towns and villages for sediment and erosion control, water management, water quality, soils and design review.

 

 

 

Interpretation and Public Use of Resource Information

 

Includes information, aerial photographs, and maps pertaining to soils, wetland, aquifers, flood plains, conservation planning, and conservation recommendations for proposed projects.

$35/hr or $35 Minimum

 

Retrieval of Natural Resource Information and Geographic Information Systems Assistance

Assistance to private non-agricultural landowners, commercial/business organizations (e.g. contractors, consultants, engineers, real estate agents, developers, etc.) with retrieval of information, maps, air photos and assistance with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the production of GIS projects including views, layouts, and printed maps*.  An additional charge will be applied for printed materials as specified on the District Products Price List. Producers and private landowners will not be charged for this service**.  The charge for printed materials will apply. Appointments are recommended.

*  Phone or FAX requests will be charged the same rate with additional charges for printed materials and shipping costs.
